About

Monica discovered strength training a decade ago as a positive outlet during her battle with eating disorders. Early on, she became engrossed in program design, striving to create optimal routines to achieve her personal fitness goals. Over time, this passion extended to helping others attain their own aspirations through effective training strategies.

After four years of coaching functional fitness classes, Monica shifted her focus in 2020 to online coaching. Here, she dedicated herself to guiding individuals in transforming their bodies while fostering healthier relationships with food and training.

Amidst challenges of injuries and burnout from previous regimens, Monica found solace and renewed passion in powerlifting. Her journey culminated in three national championships and a bronze medal in bench press at the 2023 World Championships. Eager to expand her horizons, Monica is thrilled to join the Performotion Powerlifting Coaching team, where she aims to empower athletes worldwide to excel in powerlifting and achieve their ultimate goals.

With personal experience from cutting weight for four out of six competitions, Monica deeply understands the critical role nutrition plays in optimising performance. She looks forward to assisting individuals in nurturing their bodies daily and effectively managing weight with minimal stress.
